At Groundhill Farm the majority of Mary Reveley partnerships are managed by David Green (Ingleby Racing.com ) whose own involvement in the yard spans nearly twenty years. David is vastly experienced in horse racing administration and is an ideal link between the partners and all aspects required of a well organised partnership. Many aspects of racing have changed a great deal in the last decade, non more so than the partnership scene. The cost of racing can be fairly prohibitive but this is a grand way to spread the cost and still have total involvement. Partnerships range from two to twenty partners and costs are pro-rata. At Groundhill stables twelve-share partnerships are the norm, tending to comprise of small business people. Although a partner may have two, three or more shares in the partnership, each partnership has its own "Deed of Agreement" Wetherbys and normal Bank accounts.We prefer that all partners involved in the horses are registered or become registered owners to enable them to receive owners pass-cards.
