One of Mary's first winners was Lehman's Lot, the grandmother of her popular Cambridgeshire winner Mellotie.Since then, Mary has gone on to train approaching 1,600 Flat and National Hunt winners, King Charlamagne being her first flat winner. Lottie Lehman was her first winner with a full licence at Sedgefield in 1981.
Mary Reveley's meteoric rise to fame is due to the sheer dedication and professionalism of her team at Groundhill Farm Stables. Training on the edge of the picturesque North Yorkshire Moors, Mary Reveley established Groundhill as one of the top dual-purpose racing yards in the UK and is renowned within the industry for her expertise and honesty. Mary has handed the reigns over to her son Keith who like Mary has a a keen eye when it comes to buying a racehorse at reasonable cost, especially young National Hunt stock. Over the following pages you will learn about the facilities, jockeys and horses at Groundhill and find out how to become involved with this dynamic yard and all it has to offer.
